Geometry Formulas is a free website that explains geometry formulas for area, perimeter, volume and surface area, with labeled diagrams, worked examples and step-by-step calculators. It is run by the Geometry Formulas team, a small team that builds simple, free tools and resources for students, parents and teachers.

Why we made it
Geometry formulas are easy to forget and hard to find in one place. Textbooks often skip the steps, and many websites hide the answer behind ads or sign-ups. We wanted one clean, free reference that shows the formula, what each letter means, and how to use it.
How we create and check our content
Every page is written and reviewed by our team. Each formula is checked against standard math textbooks and references, and every calculator is tested with worked examples before it goes live. When we find a mistake, or a reader reports one, we fix it and update the page.
Everything on the site is free to use, with no sign-up. We do not sell your data.
